Darin Aldridge
Renowned Bluegrass and Americana recording artists Darin Aldridge, Terry Baucom, Becky Buller and Jack Lawrence will teach and perform at the Gaston School of the Arts on January 18, 2014. They will be in Gastonia for the 3rd Annual Bluegrass Music Project which seeks to advance and preserve the acoustic musical heritage of our area.
The Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center will be hosting a Winter Flea Market and Ham Biscuit Sale on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We will have lots of great items and vendors.
People in our community would be surprised at the number of families our food pantry serves. As the cost of living increases, their check doesn’t increase at the same rate so they don’t always have resources to feed their families adequately.
