SHELBY - Louise Terry, 82, died Sun., Dec. 13, 2015, at her home.

December 14, 2015 at her residence.

Sara White Gardner, 98, passed away December 7, 2015 at The Serenity House in Huntersville, NC.

SHELBY - Mr. Toby Lynn Swanson, age 37, originally from Wisconsin, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 10, 2015.

Vance E. Norville, age 77, of Cliffside, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.

Wayne "Lightnin" Conner, age 75, of Ellenboro, died Thursday, December 10, 2015 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.

The Cleveland County Women and Childrens Shelter will be holding a breakfast at Fatz Cafe "Short Stacks for Big Change" for support, Saturday, December 19, 2015, 8:00-10:00am.

October 9th marked the end of the 10th Annual Cleveland County Step One Challenge.

Christmas Holiday: City of Shelby will be closed Thursday and Friday (December 24 and 25, 2015). Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday garbage and recycling collection will operate on regular schedule. Thursday's garbage and recycling collection will occur a day earlier on Wednesday.
