Cleveland County, Veterans Advisory Council will be hosting it's annual Veterans Memorial Day Program, Sunday, May 29, 2016, at 2:00pm, at the Cleveland Memorial Park, 1225 College Avenue, Highway 150, near Boiling Springs, NC.

The Shelby Civitan Club honored the Shelby City and Cleveland County Police with a meal at the Cleveland Country Club recently.

An almost standing-room only crowd was in attendance during the small animal auction at the Cleveland County Agriculture and Livestock Exchange on Friday, May 20th. The facility is located at 814 Wallace Grove Drive in Shelby.

The 2nd annual induction ceremony for Gardner-Webb University's School of Education Hall of Fame is planned for June 23 at 6 p.m. in Tucker Student Center. Three new members will be inducted during the ceremony.
