Even though the temperatures don't seem to be showing any signs of fall in Cleveland County yet, there is one event coming soon that will definitely let locals know that autumn is here: the annual liver mush festival.

Wayne Safrit, Notorious and well known to friends and family in Westminster Maryland, Wayne Safrit, 69, said his last goodbye Monday morning, September 16th around 1:15 a.m. while convalescing in his niece's home in Shelby, North Carolina.

The woods are wilting. I'm not exactly sure when it last rained in my area, but I know it's been over three weeks.
