Beadie Evelyn Pruitt Self, age 82 of Waco passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Peak Resources in Cherryville.

She was born September 11, 1937 in Catawba County to the late James Clutes and Mayzelle Lorene Smith Pruitt. She enjoyed crocheting, working word search puzzles, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dan Shull; and siblings, Lilly Sue Taylor, J.C. Pruitt, Bobby Ray Pruitt, and Vera Lowery.

Survivors include her daughter, Loretta S. Shull; grandchildren, Richard Shull and wife, Wanda and Buck Shull; great grandchildren, Dillion Shull (Jenna), Brandon Shull (Courtney), and Colt Shull; siblings, Peggy Roberson, Mary Lou Dellinger, and Levon Hoyle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Second Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.
