Carolyn Hoyle Hastings, 85 of Casar Road, Lawndale passed away, Friday,
October 27, 2017 at Catawba Regional Hospice.

Born June 8, 1932 in Catawba County, to the late David Oren Hoyle and
Margaret Pauline Blackwood Hoyle. She was retired from JP Stephens and was
a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband,
Coy Curtis Brendle and a brother, Charles Hoyle.

Survivors include her husband, Roy Junior Hastings; two sons, Randy Brendle
and wife, Jan of Vale and Mickey Brendle and wife, Pam of Vale; sister,
Evelyn Rhoney of Vale; three grandchildren, Rodney, Bradley and Shasta
Brendle; two step grandchildren, Chad Ritchie and Aimee Butts; two
great-grandchildren, Cameron and Ava Brendle and three step great
grandchildren, Emily and Erin Ritchie and Payton Jenkins.

Visitation wil be 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Monday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church

A funeral service will be 3:30 PM, Monday at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with
Rev. Curtis Carroll officiating.

Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
