Carolyn Wright Dellinger, 78, of N. Post Road, Shelby, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on July 29, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Ernest Yates Wright and Lou Ellen Beaver Wright. Carolyn was retired form Community Mart #1 and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ray Dellinger.

Survivors include three sons, Michael Dellinger and wife, Felisha of Sumter, SC, Kelly Dellinger and wife, Wendy of Shelby and Shawn Dellinger and wife Hilary of Shelby; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Rose Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.
