Christopher Todd Blackstone, 38, of 144 Sherrill Drive, passed away Sunday, July 11th, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Shelby, he was the son of Kenneth Blackstone and Linda Bridges Blackstone. Mr. Blackstone previously worked at McDaniel Construction and was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Blackstone is survived by two brothers, Joey Blackstone (Lisa) and Bryan Daves; one sister, Angela Blackstone Culbertson; one niece, four nephews, three great-nieces, and two great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Blackstone, his maternal grandparents, Cothenia and Billy Bridges, and his paternal grandparents, Thelma and Wilton Blackstone.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 15th, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Danny Meetze, Dr. Bruce Price, and Rev. Michael Owen officiating. Interment will follow at Clingman Memorial Gardens. Michael Merrell, Derrick Elmore, Derrick Kennington, Joshua Blackstone, Joey Blackstone, Bryan Daves, and Hunter Daves will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at the residence.
