Scott Francis Fortier, 46, of 138 Byers Circle, passed away on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021, at his home.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, he was the husband of Jackie Marie (Carter) Fortier, married on August 6, 2004. He was the son of Albert Leo Fortier Sr. and Joan Speeckaert Fortier. Mr. Fortier worked as a machinist.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Fortier is survived by his daughter, Marian Jeannette "M.J." Fortier; one brother, A. J. Fortier (Christi); one sister, Laura-Lee M. Whittaker (J. R.); two nieces, Ashley Queen and Victoria Whittaker; two nephews, Lee Fortier and Geoffrey Fortier (Kattie); one great-niece, Adalynn Queen; and three great-nephews, Easton Queen, Emmett Judd, and Gabriel Fortier.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC.

The family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests anyone who wishes may make a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society of Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties, 295 East Main Street #100, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
