Lois Dixon Wright, 85, of 200 West Carolina Street, Mulberry Ridge Apartments, Blacksburg, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Peachtree Center Rehabilitation.

Born in York County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Bolin Dixon of Blacksburg. She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Wright is survived by 3 daughters, Linda Childers and husband Eddie of Hickory Grove, SC, Janice Taylor and husband Clarence of Gaffney, SC, Barbara Covington and husband Larry of Blacksburg, SC; one son, Terry Wright and wife Teresa of York, SC.; eight grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Vinesett of Blacksburg, SC.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Dean Dixon and Jack Dixon of Blacksburg; one sister, Helen Bridges of Kings Mountain, NC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 on Tuesday, March 29 at Gordon Mortuary in Blacksburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 30 at 3:00 at Gordon Mortuary Chapel in Blacksburg with Rev. Grady Gregory and Rev. Roger Ham officiating. Internment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
