Michael Edward Burns, age 56, resident of 9078 Kings Drive, York, SC died March 18, 2012 at Mercy Hospital, Charlotte, NC.  He was born in York Co, SC,  son of the late Bobby Short.   He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Short. 

Mr. Burns was retired from MDI, Charlotte, NC
