Aaron Allen, 85, of 3443 Old Lincolnton Road, Shelby, died June 17, 2015 at
Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City.

Born September 27, 1929 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late David
Rufus Allen and Kathleen Dedmon Allen. He was self employed and was a
member of Ross Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Allen served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Rufus
Allen.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Fuchia Cook Allen; two sons, David
Allen and wife, Debbie of Shelby and Donnie Allen of Belmont; three
daughters, Sylvia Musgrave and husband, Rick of McBee, SC, Tammy Harmon of
Kings Mountain and Rebecca Rhinehardt and husband, Shawn of Shelby; step
daughter, Paula Tallent and husband, Jeff of Shelby; four brothers, Bennie
Allen and Wayne Allen both of Shelby, John Allen and wife, Elgia and Bruce
Allen all of Nebraska; sixteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Friday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home &
Cremation Center

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday at Ross Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.

Officiating: Rev. Chase Thompson

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military graveside rites
provided by Rutherford County Honor Guard.
