SHELBY – Mr. Ambrose John Chapman Jr., 74, of 2832 Nickey Sharts Rd., died Mon., Dec. 31, 2012 at his home.  A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Maggie Poole Chapman. 

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Farris Leroy Chapman; brothers, John Chapman and Flay Chapman; sisters, Lula May Sticham, Margie Edward, Ruth Chapman, Doris Beheler, Irene Hardin, and Beatrice Scism

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Ann Chapman, of the home; brother, Charles Gene Chapman of Shelby; and sister, Mildred Chapman of TX.

SERVICES:  A private family service will be held.
