Mrs. Barbara Hopper, 75 of South Post Road, went to her heavenly home, Monday, March 31, 2014 at her residence. A native of Harland County, Kentucky, she was born January 2, 1939 daughter of the late Orville and Bonnie Myers. She is a member of New Life Outreach, past member of Shelby Rescue Squad and a retired nurse. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, Nana, and grandmother.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Grady Hopper and one brother, Cecil Morris.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Tim Hopper and wife Stephanie of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Charlotte Ellis and husband Dale of Grover; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 pm Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
