Cherryville - Mr. Barry Wayne George, 60, passed away on Thursday, September
22, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

Barry was born in Waynesville, NC on August 20, 1956 a son of the late Rev.
Kenneth George and Rebecca Early George. He was a mechanic at Phil's
Starter and Alternator in Cherryville. Barry was also an avid North
Carolina Tarheel fan and loved his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Heather Puckett and Will of
Kings Mountain; a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle George and Faith of Shelby;
six grandchildren, Skylar, Gracelyn, Laney and Josiah George and Brayden and
Cason Puckett and a brother, Kenneth George, Jr. and wife Carol of Dallas.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 3:00 to
4:30PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home & Cremation Service and at other
times the family will be at the home of Heather Puckett, 1848 County Line
Road, Kings Mountian, NC 28086

Services and burial will be private.
