Mary Sue Price, 90 went on to Eternal Life with her Heavenly Father

on September 13, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family, praying,

reading scripture, singing hymns, sharing memories and even singing a little

of her favorite songs by Johnny Cash.

Mary Sue was born November 1, 1921 in Cleveland County to the late George

and Ada Hoyle Gold.  She retired from J.P. Stevens Industries after 35 years

of service and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.  She poured her

life into her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother,

great-grandmother, sister and  aunt to her many family members.  Mary Sue

made every effort to let each family member know of her love and concern for

them and spent much time and effort investing in a personal relationship

with each one.  Her favorite pastimes included watching Atlanta Braves

baseball and keeping in touch with her many family members and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace

Price; two brothers, George and Hoyle Gold; two sisters, Ruth Grigg and

Addie Francis Gold.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nelda Cline and husband, Hoyte;

her son, Kenneth Price and wife, Margaret; a special sister, Betty Daniels;

sister-in-laws, Mary Gold, Gladys Wilson and husband, Marshall;

grandchildren, Marla McCabe and husband, Dan, Susan Fogleman and husband,

Tony, Matthew Price and wife, Dacia and Shannon Price and wife, Lisa;

great-grandchildren, Bethany, Natalie and Caleb McCabe, Daniel and Mary

Fogleman, Caeleylaine and Mallory Price; and numerous loving nieces, nephews

and cousins.

Visitation: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Saturday at New Bethel Baptist Church, Lawndale

Officiating: Rev. Jason Allen and Rev. Ronell Owensby

Burial: New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery
