Mr. Benjamin Trent Bowling, 32, of Shelby, NC passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010. A Graveside Service was held in Sunset Cemetery. 

Mr. Bowling was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Lillian Bowling; his step-maternal grandparents, Kay and Donald Anthony; and step-paternal grandfather, Marvin Panther.

He is survived by his parents, Wendy and Terry Panther, and Benny and Lynn Bowling; 1 daughter, Hunter McKinley Bowling of Blacksburg, SC; 1 brother, B.J. Bowling of Gaffney, SC; 1 sister, Kelli Bowling of Shelby; his grandparents, Kenny and Pat Blanton of Shelby, and Becky Panther of Henrietta, NC; and special aunt and uncle, Dale and Janet Blanton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home, 106 Cherryville Road; Shelby, NC 28150 to defray funeral expenses.
