Kings Mountain - Mrs. Bennie Mae Watts Harmon, 80, formerly of Myrtle Beach,
SC passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at White Oak Manor in Kings
Mountain.

Mrs. Harmon was born in Mecklenburg County, NC on February 12, 1936 a
daughter of the late Alfred Watts and Louise Oliver Watts Clanton. She was
a 1954 graduate of Cherryville High School. Mrs. Harmon was retired as an
office administrator from Grand Strand Health Care in Surfside Beach, SC.
She was a member of Surfside Baptist Church and was a wonderful and loving
caregiver to all who came into her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48
years, Gene Harmon.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Alan Harmon and wife
Janet of Cherryville; John Harmon and wife Cathy of John's Island, SC; David
Harmon and wife Pam of Little River, SC; a brother and sister-in-law, Wayne
Watts and wife Belinda; a sistser and brother-in-law, Mary Morris and
husband Larry; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

The family will have a private graveside service at City Memorial Cemetery
in Cherryville.
