Bertha Elizabeth Queen, 88, of Shelby, NC, passed away on May 25, 2022 at Peak Resources in Cherryville, NC.

She was born in York County, SC, daughter of the late Vester and Martha Peterson Martin and was preceded in death by her husband JC Ayers, a daughter, Rita Davis, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Bertha was a wonderful mother and grandmother to 3 generations of grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Norris Willis officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service in the church

INTERMENT: Allen Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, Grover, NC
