Mr. Billy Oscar Goode, 79, of Mooresboro, passed away on May 20, 2012.  Services were held at the A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel at McKinney Landreth & Carroll Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Cliffside Cemetery. 

Mr. Goode served our country in the United States Navy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents John V. and Lillie Mae Nanney Goode and brother Glenn Goode. 

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Lovelace Goode; one son, Larry Goode and wife Mary of Forest City; one step-daughter, Brenda Gosnell of Ellenboro; three grandchildren and three step grandchildren.
