SHELBY – Mrs. Bonnie Dayberry Willis, 94, died Sun., Nov. 18, 2012, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Sarah Page Dayberry. She retired from textiles and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved to work crossword puzzles and enjoyed keeping a daily journal.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.D. Willis; daughter, Phyllis Willis Cook; and three sisters, Violet Sisk, Clovie Panther, and Goldie Blackburn.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her three loving and dedicated grandchildren, Kyle Cook and wife Jennifer, Debbie Kelley, and Kristi Cook and fiancé, Beno Francis, all of Shelby; one great-grandson, Cy Jackson Cook; two nieces, Pat Panther and husband Bill, and Maxine Altman, all of Charlotte; her dear friend, Ollie Cook of Shelby; and her loving pet, Lucky.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Tuesday, 2pm, at Cleveland Memorial Park
VISITATION: The family will receive friends following the service, at the cemetery.
