Brenda Jo Williamson Lutz, 79, of Polkville, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.

Born October 19, 1934 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Clifton Williamson and Dorcas Lattimore Williamson Hawkins.  She worked for the NC Agricultural Department and the Lithia House in Lincolnton.

Brenda is survived by her husband, John Reid Lutz, Jr.; a son, John Reid Lutz, III and wife, Christine of Mount Holly; a daughter, Juanita Lutz Owen and husband, Andrew of Huntsville, Alabama; five grandchildren, John R. Lutz, IV and wife, Kimberley, Graham Owen, David Lutz, Savannah Lutz and Jesse Lutz; and two great grandchildren, Johnny Lutz and Jacob Lutz.

Visitation: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Pisgah ARP Presbyterian Church, Gastonia

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Wednesday at Pisgah ARP Presbyterian Church, 3600 S. Linwood Road, Gastonia, NC 28052

Graveside Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery
