Mr. Burdette Gage Dewell, IV, 39, of 214 Hill Road, Lawndale, NC, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston, NC. 

Mr. Dewell served our country in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Donna Marie Selby Dewell; father, Burdette Gage Dewell, III of Windham, New York; his mother, Alice Lorraine Osterhoudt of Lawndale, NC; 1 son, Burdette Gage Dewell, V; 2 daughters, Hannah Lorraine Dewell and Kelsy Amelia Selby, all of Lawndale; 1 brother, Wayne Vickers Dewell of New York City; 3 sisters, Bonnie Lou Garden of Greenville, NY, Cindy Lou Foda of Oakland Garden, NY, and Nancy Lou Partridge of Ashland, NY; several aunts, uncles and friends; and many nieces and nephews.
