 Mr. Carl J. “Mac” McIntyre, 82, of 629 Mary’s Grove Rd., Cherryville, NC, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010. Services were held at Waco Baptist Church. Burial followed in Capernaum Cemetery. 

Mr. McIntyre was preceded in death by his father, Grady McIntyre; and his mother, Elmer Justice McIntyre.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Edna Leigh McIntyre; 4 sons, Steve McIntyre and wife Donna of Charlotte, NC, Mike McIntyre and wife Rhonda of Jonesboro, GA, Craig McIntyre and wife Wanda of Waco, and Keith McIntyre and wife Vicki of Polkville; 1 daughter, Carlene Scronce and friend Jeff Forringer of Bessemer City, NC; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
