Mr. Carmie Hazel Parker, 90, of 121 Jesse Mountain Road, Casar, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Services were held at Olive Grove Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Hull Parker; his parents, Thomas Parker and Martha Frances Smith Parker; 1 son, Dwight Parker; 2 brothers, Lee Parker and Millard Parker; and 3 sisters, Eva Walker, Lounette Smith and Ruby Propst.

He is survived by 1 daughter, Bonnie Lindsay of Cherryville; 1 son, Dewitt Parker of Valdese; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
