“A Case for a Cause”

The Owl’s Eye Winery will have a drawing for a case of wine. $10 for one ticket or $25 for three tickets. What could you win? A mixed case of Owl’s Eye wine, an Owl’s Eye corkscrew and four wine glasses. 

The drawing will occur at Wine Down Friday, February 8^th.  I will be providing the entertainment that night with my good friend, Jim McCurry. We call ourselves, The Deal Pickers. It will be a fun night of foot stomping , grinning, and guitar picking. 


The money will go to Tanner. Call the Owl’s Eye (704) 471-9196) to get your raffle tickets ahead of time or come hear some relaxing music and enjoy the action.

                                    “Little Guitars are not just for kids”

Shelby Music Center is helping out the cause too! Martin Guitar Company and our hometown music store is raffling a Little Martin guitar for 1$ a ticket! If you didn’t know, Martin has made some of the BEST guitars in the world. This guitar is not just for kids. The LX1 features a solid spruce top and gig bag. You can go to Shelby Music Center (306 S Lafayette St.) to view and play the instrument. Once a thousand $1 raffle tickets are sold, the drawing will be held. 

            I am so proud of this community making leaps and bounds to prove that music can make a difference in the lives of people. Don’t forget about the songwriting contest.
