Carolyn Upchurch Bell, age 74, resident of Kings Mountain, NC died December 26, 2011 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC.  She was born in Cleveland Co. NC to the late William F. Upchurch and Grace Patterson Upchurch. 

She was also preceded in death by brothers Marvin Upchurch, Dr. Ernest C. Upchurch and sister Irene Edwards. She was an active member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from the Patrick Senior Center, Kings Mtn. NC.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Bell loved spending time with family, quilting, and crafts, gardening, cooking and her pets.

Sons: Jeff Bell and wife Gail, Kings Mtn. NC

 Scott Bell and wife Bridgette, Kings Mtn. NC

Daughters: Roxanne Bell Wright and husband Larry, Kings Mtn. NC

 Beverly Marnell and husband Gene, Augusta, GA

Brothers: Willard H. Upchurch and wife Mary Ann, Winston-Salem, NC

Sister-in-law: Doris Upchurch, Kings Mtn. NC

6 Grandchildren: Chris Powell and wife Barbara, Amy Bell and husband Michael, Ashley Seawright and fiancé Bradley Camp, Chandler Bell, Heather Seiler and husband Ray and Christopher Wright. 

4 Great Grandchildren: Cameron Bell, Jake Lehr, Laura Grace Powell, and Jonathan Seiler.
