Lawndale - Mr. Cecil Maynard Willis, 73, of 111 Stacey Street passed away
Thursday, November 10, at his home.

Born in Cleveland County on September 14, 1943, he was a son of the late
Marcus Willis and Minnie Downs Willis.

He was owner of Willis Builders and Willis Auto. Cecil was a sergeant in the
Army serving in Germany during the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lamar,
Norris, and Jack Willis.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Judy Lail Willis; son and
daughter-in-law, Tim and Michelle Alexander; grandson-the light of his life,
Brandon Alexander; brother, Ken Willis; sister, Hilda Willis; a special
friend, Frankie; and extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Sunday,
November 13, from 1:30 until 2:30. A guest register is available at

A military graveside service will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at Rose Hill Memorial
Park in Fallston with Mr. Jake Lail officiating.
