Charlene Lewis Ellis, 91, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on April 7, 2025 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain, NC. Born April 15, 1933 in Avery County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Talmage Lewis and Ruby Cornett Lewis and was also preceded in death by her husband of many years, G.W. "Dub" Ellis, daughter Karen Elizabeth Ellis, and Baby Ellis. Charlene worked for many years as a real estate broker and was also an incredibly talented multidisciplinary artist, spending time involved with the Kings Mountain Art Guild. She was also a very involved member of Grace United Methodist Church. Charlene was an avid reader, especially of devotionals and other religious literature. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who leaves her loved ones to treasure a lifetime of memories.

Grandchildren: Brodie Ellison of Kings Mountain, NC, Joanna Lewis and husband, Mark, and Lance Armstrong and wife, Joycelynn, all of Mooresville, NC
Great-Grandchildren: Joseph, Zachary, Ava, Gabriel, Dallas, Calix, and Nadia

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Friday, April 11, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Lavonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Mooresboro, NC Reverend Rick Cloninger officiating.

INTERMENT: Lavonia Baptist Church Cemetery, 2841 Camp Creek Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114
