Mr. Charles Elvin Greene, 69 of 405 Bell Road, Kings Mountain, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House.

Born September 2, 1944 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Charlie W. Greene and Girleen Hullander Greene.  He was retired as a supervisor for Anvil Kint Wear in Kings Mountain.  Mr. Greene was a member of Chestnut
Ridge Baptist Church and also served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, PatriciaEvonne Greene and brother, James E. Greene.

Survivors include his son, Stephen Greene of Kings Mountain; daughter, Crystal Allen and husband, Kenneth of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Stephen Ray Greene, Matthew Allen and MaKenzie Allen; and sister, Teresa
"Dottie" Harmon of Kings Mountain.

Visiation: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Thursday at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Kings Mountain

Funeral Service: 4:00 PM, Thursday at Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, Kings Mountain

Officiating: Rev. Greg Neely

Burial: will follow in Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery
