Christa Angela Jarrell, 46, of 1319 4th St., Statesville, formerly of Cherryville, died January 1, 2013 at Hospice of Catawba Valley. She was born on July 3, 1966 a daughter of the late Virginia Jarrell and was formerly employed by Pretty Paper and Lincoln Manufacturing.
 
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by a brother Scott Jarrell.
Survivors include her daughter Sierra Jarrell of Lincolnton, daughters Chelsea and Carol Ann of Denver and two sisters Susie Jarrell of Vale and Debbie Canipe of Lincolnton.
 
A Memorial service will be held Saturday at 4 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Bumgardner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:30-3:45 PM at the funeral home.
