Clara Nell Cooke, 82, of 716 Sipes Street, Kings Mountain, died Monday,
January 16, 2012 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain.

Born December 9, 1929 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late
Frank Grantt and Thelma Lackey Grantt.  She was a member of North Brook
Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude
Cooke.

Mrs. Cooke is survived by her son, Arthur "Art" Cooke of Kings Mountain; a
grandson, Aaron Day Cooke; and a brother, Joe Grantt of Cherryville.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston

Memorial Service: 7:00 PM on Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
