In mid-November, Special Olympics Cleveland County Flag Football team attended the 24th Annual NIRSA Mid-Atlantic Regional Flag Football Classic  at the University of Maryland. The Cleveland Mustangs were crowned the Special Olympics Division Champions bringing home the gold medals and tournament trophy.
