Cordia Jeanette Butler Turner, 83, of 251 Clelo Road, Casar, went to be with
the Lord on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Sunrise Rehab & Care Center in
Nebo.

Born August 30, 1928 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late
John Butler and Laura Guffey Butler.  Mrs. Turner was retired from Broyhill
Furniture Company as a machinists and was a member of Mt. Moriah United
Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, O.C.
Turner; an infant brother and two sisters, Eloise White and Sue White.

Survivors include three sons, J.C. Turner and wife, Janet of Casar; Eugene
Turner of North Carolina and Roger Turner and wife, Donna of Bostic; four
sisters, Fan Hoyle of Casar, Pauline McCurry of Polkville, Shirley Philbeck
of Polkville and Mildred McNeilly of Casar; eleven grandchildren and sixteen
great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM,  Wednesday at Mt. Moriah United Methodist
Church, Casar

Funeral Service:  3:30 PM, Wednesday at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church,
Casar

Officiating: Rev. Gary Smith and Rev. Danny McNeilly

Burial: Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery
