Dave Davis, 68, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on December 02, 2020 at Artium Health in Shelby, NC.

He was born in Muncie, IN, son of the late Herman and LaVina Brown Davis and was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Daniel Davis. Dave served honorably in the US Army for twenty years having served as a tank commander and retiring as a medic. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. Always the life of the party, Dave loved to make people laugh. Having fun was guaranteed when you were around him. He enjoyed traveling, having moved thirty-one times during his lifetime. Dave collected knives and enjoyed listening to christian music, especially the Gaither Vocal Band. He was a wonderful provider for his family, and a loving husband, father and grandfather. His joyous spirit will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Brothers: Tom Davis (Deb), John Davis (Audrey), and Sam Davis

Sisters: Judy Craker (Wesley), Margie McClure (John), Deb Bennett (David) and Lorena Jeffries

Grandchildren: Adam Davis (Sabrina), Abby Davis, Jordan Morschhauser, Dominic Davis, Dane Davis, and Annaleigh Davis

FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel

VISITATION: Monday, December 7, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
