Mrs. Delores Bridges, 68 of Shelby, NC, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011. Services were held at Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Burial was held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Daves and Irene Richards Daves.

She is survived by her husband, James Bridges of the home; a son, Charles Grigg  & wife, Rose of New House; a step-daughter, Lynn Murray of Bostic; step sons, Jimmy Bridges of Shelby; David Bridges & Cathy of Grover; one grandson, Alexander “Alex” Nathaniel Grigg; sisters, Glenda Beaver of Shelby; Verlene Suttles of Gastonia; and Cynthia Watts of Shelby.
