Ms. Easter Delores “Lois” Haynes, 53, of 605 Hamrick St. Shelby, NC departed this life on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.  A native of Cleveland County, she was born on April 17, 1960 to Minnie Catherine Shuford Reynolds and the late Robert Lee Haynes.

Lois as she was known to many was a 1978 graduate of Burns High School and was previously employed with Wal-Mart Distribution Center for 9 years.  She was a member of Good Samaritan Church and loved she her church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two children, Montrell Haynes and Sasha Mosley and a brother, Kenneth Haynes.

Left to cherish her memory are one son, Lyntallus “Lyn” Haynes (Annie Colon); her mother, Minnie Catherine Reynolds (William) of Lawndale, NC; three brothers, Ronnie “Keith” Haynes (Sarah) of Polkville, NC, Vincent Lamont Haynes (Valerie) and Quincy Delone Haynes both of Shelby; two sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Bess and Felicia “Lisa” Haynes both of Shelby; her very special friend, Kent Clemmons of Shelby; nine grandchildren, Netijah Haynes, Zavariea Haynes, Shatrell Haynes, Nyquist Haynes, Witness Haynes, Jordyn Haynes, Lyntavious Haynes, Parris Gash and Ray’anna Surratt; close friends, Rick and Sheila Rhyne of Vale, NC, Eddie and Karen Brooks and Amy Shell all of Shelby  and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family and friends who were dear to her heart.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Good Samaritan Baptist Church with Rev. James Coleman officiating.  Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery.
