Mrs. Edith “Edie” Wilson Carson Lovell, age 90, of 1509 Shelby Road, Kings Mountain, NC passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. A Memorial Service was held at First Presbyterian Church and interment was held in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, NC.

Mrs. Lovell was preceded in death by her two husbands, Vernon Oscar Carson and Ralph Lawrence Lovell;  parents George Washington and Pearl G. Powers Wilson; three brothers, George Wilson, Carl Wilson and Woodrow Wilson; and one sister, Irene Collins.

She is survived by one  son: Vernon F. Carson, and wife Jo Carole, Gastonia, NC;  2 grandchildren;  2 great grandchildren;    close friends, Sybil Hallman and Ann McDaniel  and several nieces and nephews.
