Lauderdale Florida passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Lexington Medical
Center, Columbia, SC.
Born in Burke County on April 11, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Peter
Alonzo Lail and Lottie Cook Lail. Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and a member
of Women of the Moose.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hayes
Lanford Lindsay; grandson, David Lindsay; brothers, Dewey, Lee, Walter Lail;
and sisters, Texie Wright, Flavie Hudson and Meriel Cabiness .
Mrs. Lindsey is survived by son, Bill Lindsay of Chapin, SC; brother, Arnold
Lail of Shelby, three grandchildren, Brian Lindsay, Lisa Lindsay and Matthew
Lindsay; and greatgrandchild, Tanner Lindsay.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Monday at Stamey
Funeral Home in Fallston.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr.
Bulo Price officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston.
