Eric Clay Royster, 73, of 4255 Fallston Road, Shelby, passed away Wednesday,
August 31, 2016 at Kings Mountain Hospital.

He was born in Cleveland County on August 4, 1943, to the late Everett Clay
Royster and Vivian Alice Martin Royster.

In additon to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virginia
Allen Royster.

He is survived by a son Chad Royster and wife, Kelly of Fallston; a
daughter, Sherry Amaxopulos and husband, Alexander of Bufort, SC; three
grandchildren, Mason Royster, Curtis Black and Dillon Black; a
great-granddaughter, Kaylie Grace Black; a brother, Arnold Royster of
Fallston and two nieces, Allison Cooper and husband, Ian of Fallston and
Michelle Royster and Scott Helms of Fallston.

The family will recieve friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy Peeler officiating.
