She was born in Cleveland County on September 10, 1915 to the late Enoch
Wellmon and Ella Costner Wellmon. She was retired from Plainsview Family
Care Home where she was administrator and was also a homemaker. Mrs.
Wellmon was a member of Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ellis P.
Hoyle; two brothers, Tommy Wellmon and Clemmie Wellmon and two sisters, Dora
Minnie & Dovie Wellmon.
She is survived by two daughters, Lois Dechent and husband Ernest and
Margaret Towery and husband Fred both of Fallston; two grandchildren, Mary
C. Dechent- Washburn and husband Edward and Mark Towery; two brothers,
Howard Wellmon and Robert Wellmon both of Lawndale; and two sisters, Sara
Jane Towery and Kimmie Hartman both of Lawndale.
The family would also like to thank Mrs. Hoyles caregivers, Dotty Driver,
Mary Cole, Nancy Campbell, Rose Bush, and Carrie Nelson; and Delynn's Team
at Hospice Cleveland County for all of the care provided.
