Farrell Cameron Reynolds, 64, of Ballard St., died Dec 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born on October 12, 1950 in Cleveland Co. a son of the late Edith Evelyn Patterson Heavner and Jacob Phillip Reynolds.
Farrell was a retired textile worker, faithful and active member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church. He was always trying to help his fellow man, coached senior Little League baseball, had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, and was very patriotic. He proudly served his country in the US Army in Vietnam.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Jeannie Beam Reynolds and a sister Debbie Smith.
He is survived by his son Michael Chad Reynolds and wife Jennifer of Bangor Maine, two grandchildren Matthew and Abbie, a sister Cindy Dean, of Cherryville and an aunt Linda Rudisill, Cherryville.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday Dec. 30, 2014 at 4 PM at Cherryville Missionary Methodist church with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 2:3O-3:45 pm. Military honors by American Legion Post #100
