Cherryville - Mrs. Faye Austin Brittain, 69, passed away on Friday, March 2,
2018 at her residence.

Faye was born on December 24, 1948 in Caldwell County, NC a daughter of the
late William J. Austin and Viola Bentley Austin. She was a retired
seamstress from Hamricks in Gaffney, SC and was a member of Plainsview
Baptist Church in Lawndale.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ambers
Brittain; a brother, Jimmy "Buck" Austin; a sister, Betty Jo Hicks and two
half brothers, Azor and Garfield Austin.

Survivors include her two sons, Kelvin Brittain and wife Linda and Dennis
Brittain; four grandchildren, Jace, Amber Grace and Colton Brittain and
Hayley Eller all of Cherryville; a godson, Ryan Pence of Cherryville; two
brothers, Billy and Donnie Austin both of Hudson; three sisters, Barbara
Kirby of Hudson; Audrey Brittain of Fallston; Lorene Austin and a half
sister, Sadie Spears of Lenoir.

Visitation will be from 1:45 to 2:45PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home and at other times the family will be at the
home of Kelvin Brittain, 7300 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy., Cherryville.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at
Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Ewing officiating.

Burial will be at Plainsview Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawndale.
