The 5th Annual Special Olympic Cleveland County/North Shelby School Benefit Fishing Tournament was held on November 5, 2011 at the Pinnacle boat landing on Lake Norman. The tournament raised $23,100.96 this year with the total from all the years exceeding $100,000.00. This tournament would not be possible without all the generosity from all of our sponsors.

The funds from this event are used to cover the cost of local, area, regional and state level competitions for all 16 offered sports throughout the year. This includes cost of uniforms, hotels, car/bus rentals among other things.
