Mrs. Flossie Lee Greene, 69, of 8011 Falling Brook Lane, Vale, NC passed away on Monday, September 27, 2010. Services were held at North Brook Baptist Church, Cherryville, NC. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 

Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Greene; her parents, David Burton Canipe and Vangie Rosey Bivens Canipe; 2 brothers, J.D. and Roy Canipe; and 2 sisters, Mary Young and Evelyn Davis.

She is survived by 2 sons, Donald Greene and fiancée, Vickie Brown of Conover, and Ronnie Greene and wife Marie of Lincolnton; 1 brother, David Canipe, Jr. of Hickory; 1 sister, Rlee Schronce of Vale; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
