Mr. Franklin Marlow, 75, of 103 O.P. Drive, Lawndale, NC, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Services were held at Mull’s Memorial Baptist Church, Shelby. Burial followed in Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. 

Mr. Marlow was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Yarbro Marlow; his parents, Jonas Marlow and Pent Melton Marlow; 1 son, Franklin Scott Marlow; and 1 brother, Jeff Marlow.

He is survived by his second wife of 29 years, Jeanette Elizabeth Peeler Marlow; 1 daughter, Penny Blanton of Shelby; 1 step-son, Rodney Parker and wife Debbie of Lawndale; 1 step-daughter, Nicole Hines of Charlotte; 3 brothers, Alfred Marlow and Eddie Marlow, both of Shelby, and Robert Marlow of Gastonia; 2 sisters, Vinnie Causby and Velma Barrett, both of Shelby; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
