 Mr. Fred Lee Curtis, 67, of 1023 A Pleasant Grove Road, Chester, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010. Services were held at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston, NC. Burial followed in Rose Hill Memorial Park. 

Mr. Curtis served our country in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Jake Curtis and Marie Martin Curtis.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sheila Gettys Curtis; 1 daughter, Melissa Calloway and husband Lee of Cherryville; a step-daughter, Tina Noonan and husband Pat of Portsmouth, VA; 1 granddaughter; and 2 sisters, Dainna Ozgur of Vienna, VA and Leslie White of Richmond, VA.
