George Junior Murray, age 88, resident of 314 Edel Street, Kings Mountain, NC went to be with his Lord and Savior January 30, 2013 at his home.  He was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Gaston Murray and Maggie Greene Murray.  He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Hamrick Murray; brothers, Avero Murray, Monroe Murray, Horace Murray, Willard Murray and sisters, Viola Murray and Lottie Murray.   Mr. Murray was a member of Midview Baptist Church where he served as former deacon and teacher of the Men's Sunday School Class for 54 years.   He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed sharing his faith with his family. 
He was former employee of Margrace Mills and retired from K Mills, Kings Mtn.

Annette Forbes and husband Darrell, Grover, NC
Sons: Doug Murray and wife Melody; Russell Murray and wife Terri;
Gene Murray and wife Janie,  all of Kings Mtn. NC
Brother: Robert Murray
Sisters: Darcus, Cleo, Florence,  and Zaciena 
13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Midview Baptist Church, Saturday, February 2, 2013
  3:00 P.M.   Rev. Robbie Stinson and Rev. Bob Hope, officiating.

VISITATION: 1:30 - 2:30 P.M. Saturday February 2, 2013 prior to the service in the sanctuary of Midview Baptist Church, other times at the home, 314 Edel Street, Kings Mountain, NC

INTERMENT: Midview Baptist Church Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
