Harold Gene Sellers

Harold Gene Sellers, age 78, of 1254 Shelby Hwy., died July 2, 2014 at his residence. Harold was born in Cleveland County, September 7, 1935 a son of the late Hugh Gordon and Carrie Moore Sellers. He was the owner of Sellers Heating and Air Conditioning for 40 years and was a member of Cherryville Missionary Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Erelene Marcella Mauney Sellers, a brother Hugh Sellers, Jr, a sister-in-law Betty Mauney Crane and a brother-in-law Yates Mauney.

Survivors include a son, Harold Duane Sellers, of Cherryville, a grandson Tyler Duane Sellers and Ashley McGowan, of Cherryville, a great grandson Randy Carson Eli Sellers, a sister Jenny Heavner and husband Claude of Cherryville and a brother in law John Frank Crane, of Charlotte.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Carpenter’s Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will follow the service in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton, NC. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
