Lawndale - Mr. Harold Ted Ledford, 80, of 177 Covington Road passed away
peacefullySunday, July 5, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Cleveland County on August 13, 1934, he was a son of the late Ralph
Herbert Ledford and Margaret Inez Hoyle Ledford. A member of Lawndale
Baptist Church, he served as a former deacon. Mr. Ledford retired as a
supervisor with Cleveland Mills in Lawndale after forty-five years of
service. He served in the US Army following his graduation.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter,
Haley Ledford.

Mr. Ledford is survived by his wife of sixty years, Ruby Oliver Ledford;
sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Robin Ledford of Lawndale, Terry and
Cindy Ledford of Nashville and Jamie Ledford of Lawndale and fiancee,
Mary Jividen; sister, Barbara Ledford of Lawndale; grandchildren, Dustin
Ledford and wife, Tiffany of Kings Mountain, Christin Chapman of Shelby,
Jeremy Ledford and wife, Courtney of Nashville, Tennessee, Amber Ledford of
Nashville, Tennessee, Drew Ledford and wife, Kaylee of Nashville,
Tennessee, and Hunter Ledford of Lawndale; great grandchildren, Kaden,
Jayden, Myla, Silas, and Arianna; brothers-in-law and their wives, Henry and
Shirley Oliver of Kings Mountain, and Lawrence and Nell Oliver of Shelby,
Jerry Oliver of Kings Mountain, and David and Annie Oliver of Kings
Mountain; and sisters-in-law, Clara Crawford and Evelene Thompson both of
Kings Mountain and Vickie Rice and Janette Oliver both of Shelby; and other
mothers of his grandchildren, Donna Ledford and Barbie Sprouse.

The family will receive friends Monday 6:30 until 8 at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home in Fallston A guest register is available at

The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 AM at Lawndale Baptist Church with Rev.
Jim Kilby and Chaplain Justin Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at
Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston.
